On my 2000 Dodge Grand Carivan Sport. The other day the drivers side sliding door wasn't shut after the kids where in. So I slamed it hard. Later found out that it would not open. I have took the door panel off. Every thing is working correctly. I bielive the mechenism is messing up. How do I get the door off without breaking anything?

 

I had to take the doors off my '03 and found it was easier than you think, but you need 2 people to do it. I picked up a Haines repair manual at Autozone. That along with the nice people on this board helped me figure it out. Don't know if my '03 and your '00 are the same though

No sorry. Are you trying to remove the door altogether or just get it opened
