Default no parking brake

I have a 2004 grand caravan with 4 wheel disk brakes. I live on a mountain and need my parking brake, I just recently replaced the left rear cable, the front cable, and the intermediate cable, the parking brake was working fine up until about three weeks ago now it isn't holding. Is there an adjustment on the foot brake lever, I haven't checked the parking brake shoes or hardware yet, but the onset doesn't lead me to believe it's that any help or ideas appreciated. thanks Rick

replaced the shoes and hardware kits I found the backing plates are rotted out and the used car lot I bought it from rigged the shoes. I'm in the process of getting two new backing plates and trying again. thanks Rick

The park brake ratchet is self adjusting. I would make sure the park brakes are adjusted and if the ratchet goes to the floor. Replace the ratchet assy.
