06 dodge caravan security light

06 dodge caravan security light
light is on and van will not start any ideas on how to get this off and start van new batteries in both van and remote will not do a thing 2nd time it happened first time is started ofter 3 hrs now nothing after 2 days one with battery disconnected and one with battery connected. lights come on but will not start little red light on all the time. thanks people

Do you have a remote start? Or some variety of aftermarket alarm? Or is it all still factory?
Not sure how Dodge did things at that point, but, GM used a resistor in the key, if the value wasn't correct, car wouldn't start. That would reset after ten minutes though. If yours is not resetting, then there is probably a failure elsewhere in the system. Did the battery in the van go dead at some point?
