I took my van in a month ago because it was misfiring. The mechanic replaced the ignition coil and said the PCM was also bad, which he wanted to charge me way more than neccessary. Brought it home, changed the spark plugs and cables ourselves (Autozone said codes were telling them plugs and/or cables were bad) and it still ran rough. We've aso put in a new battery (it was shot as well). Still riding rough. My BF took it to Autozone again yesterday and they said it's still the ignition coil. He put ANOTHER new one in and is getting code P2305, which I found on this forum is still the ignition coil! Is the PCM bad?

 

Have your mechanic check the wiring harness. Chrysler did not use an adequate heat shield to protect it from melting.
