how do i replace driver side (left) mirror on 96 dodge caravan.

 

Open the door and at the base of the mirror facing the drivers door jamb there is a philliips head screw there, take that off and slide the plastic piece forward. That will reveal two T30 torx head screws at the bottom of the mirror. Remove those, also facing the drivers door jamb above the removed phillips head screw you will see a hole in the mirror housing, there is another T30 torx in there. Remove that and the mirror can be removed. If they are power, you will find a red connector, use a small flat screwdriver and push it inbetween the locking tab and the connector and disconnect the connector. Installation is reverse of removal.
