i have a 1997 dodge caravan 3.3 that will start and run but slowly drains out the battery i had my alt tested at 5 different stores and passed all five times i even replaced my power Tran and the alt light still comes on all my lights go Dem and the van shuts off

 

Closely inspect the battery cables for any damage. They can corrode internal to the insulation. Battery voltage should be over 12 vdc as measured at the battery posts with engine off. If it's low charge it on a charger and have it load tested. Start the engine and voltage should jump over 13.5 vdc. If it's low you either have a wiring problem to the alternator or most likely the alternator is toast. 50 stores could say it was good.
