Error code P0461 has been a nagging re-occurring problem. The first time the dealer replaced the wire harness inside the tank. The code came back a few months later. The error reset itself It came back 6 months later and was reset by scanner. It has come and gone many times but now the scanner fails to connect to the OBD only during erase attempts but reads the code just fine. Oh BTW fuel gauge works fine, DTE works fine, fuel econ readout reads fine and there are no other symptoms beside Check Engine light.
