Default 2000 grand caravan 3.3L transmission noise

when it starts everything sounds fine but once put into gear it makes a slight grinding/ticking sound coming from the driver side of the transmission i just put in their and when this happens it only last for 3-6 sec. when i took my wife to work the engine light came on i took it in got code for crank position sensor i changed that fixed the whole problem took light off i drove it all day light stayed off only thing is that ticking/grinding sound it drives and shifts fine should i be worried? also it kicks when put into N

If you are talking about a zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz-TICK noise when you go from N-D or P-D that is pretty normal. As far as I know that is the solenoid pack doing it's job and is nothing to be concerned about.

Mine makes that noise whenever I switch out of neutral or park into reverse or drive, but I wouldn't say it is 3-6 seconds, more like 1-1.5 seconds.
