2000 Grand Caravan SE passenger side AC blows hot.
Just picked up a very nice 2000 GC SE, and the passenger side vents are blowing hot air. I had another 2000 GC here, and tried swapping the controls bezel, but no change was noted.
I have seen posts mentioning calibration, but they seem to be starting at model year 2001. Don't wanna mess something else up with the wrong button pushes!
What should I try next?

unfortunately being a 2000, you can't get codes from it, you just know it failed. You will need to get the codes pulled with a scan tool. Weather that's a shop or if the local parts store can do it, not sure, but need the code to know what to do.
Yup, according to Allpar it means "failed calibration diagnostics". Corrective action is to "run calibration diagnostic test". Guess that means to repeat the test. After that your guess is as good as mine. Make sure the switches are in correct positions.
When I turn the van off and back on, the LEDs are no longer flashing. Are the codes still stored, or must I repeat the CAL and read the code while the LEDS are flashing??

Went to AutoZone, they would not even try since there was no CEL on.
Went to the local Dodge dealer, they said it would be $98 to read the codes.
Went to local mechanic, his scanner did not read the codes.

So. I tried the Calibration procedure on the other 2000 CG I have here (a junker), and it passed. In theory, I should be able to swap parts from to junker into the good van. Is there any easy way to view what's going on in there, or does the whole dash have to come out?? Dang!
