Default Mystery Parts...can you help?

I am guessing that my 3.8 Grand Voyager and it's Caravan sibling are going to share many of the same motor parts. I just did a transmission rebuild and have a couple of errant parts seeking a home.

If you can help me find a home for these two parts I will see if I can get the Pope to grant a plenary indulgence for time off in Purgatory... : -)

It appears that the hose is a vacuum hose. It is 4 1/8" in length. You can see where it was plugged onto something...beats me.

The metal piece is also a mystery. It is 3 3/8" in length

I guess that might help...1994

Thanks for asking!

I'm not hearing any vacuum leaks. The hose just appeared next to me under the vehicle. I did jack the engine up a bit higher than it should be at one point and thought perhaps something didn't make the stretch...
