hello, I need some help. I have an 03 cv. I keep getting a tps code. I have replaced it 3 times. It seems to come on when air conditioning is turned on or when engine is under heavy load. Also when slowing down to a stop. The trans seems to hold gear and just before coming to a full stop, it decides to down shift with a thump. Could that be a part of it as well? any ideas?

 

Have you taken off the throttle body and cleaned it thoroughly whenever changing the tps? At the same time, I would remove the IAC from the throttle body and clean it as well - directions are on here somewhere and there are, I believe, some videos on youtube.
