Default Thr LAST Caravan Blend Door Thread!

I've read a number of threads dealing with the heater/AC blend doors in the Caravan but I have not been abale find all the info I'm looking for.

I have a 2005 GC SXT with the 3-zone auto climate control. As of last week the air blows out only through the dash vents regardless of how the adjustment **** is set.

I read and followed the instruction to recalibrate the blend doors but the procedure did not help with the problem. I could hear the blend doors opening & closing, including the ones in the rear of the van. But even after 2 calibrations the air is still only coming out of the dash vents.

This thread shows how to perform the calibration:
https://dodgeforum.com/forum/dodge-c...libration.html

but it ends with "Refer to Body Diagnostic Procedures to perform further diagnosis" - can someone add a link for this?

It's looking as though I will need to replace some electronic gadget behind the center of the dash but what is it, what's a good price for it, and where is the best/cheapest place to find it?

Let's see if we can get ALL the info for this issue in one thread!

Thanks!

~Dave

Blend doors only control temp. I think the ones that control where the air goes are vacuum controlled. Might wanna check that first.

In an '05 model, you can do the calibration procedure. If something fails, it sets a code in the module that has to be retrieved with a scan tool. All of the actuators are above the gas pedal. Run calibration while looking up and see if the actuators are moving. if one isn't, then remove it and see if it does. See if you can turn the door yourself.
