My passenger side window quit in the up position, banging and slamming the door has no affect. There is power to the window.

I took the panel off, power to the motor.

I hit the motor with a large screwdriver handle, it started working.

My question, even though it is now working, should it be replaced? I'm guessing this will be a reoccurring problem, right?

If I need to change it out, where can I get a quality one, or are they all made in cheapo-land these days?

Last question, why can't just the motor be changed????
