went to unlock the driver's door this am and the wipers cycled 3 times then stopped. I think I will run a new ground wire and see what that does. Next step will probably be run a switch straight to the wipers themselves. Has anyone done this?

Started phase 1 of wiring the wipers myself. I now have wipers that work on low only.I will try more combos tomorrow to see which way of wiring works the best

have wipers wired direct now. I used the brown and white(low speed) and black(gr) wires from the motor. I ran a hot wire straight from the battery and hooked in a chassis ground wire to the black wire from the wiper. I mounted a toggle switch on the dash. In order to get through the firewall, I had to take off the driver side tire and inner fenderwell and use the path dodge took to run the wires through the firewall.(what a pain).

I have had the new wiring on the front wipers quite a while now. The other day I thought of fixing the rear wiper(not even knowing if the wiper worked). I was driving down the road and the rear wiper started on its own with the switch off. It worked about 5 times and then shut itself off. At least I found out the wiper worked.
