dodge grand caravan 2003 transmission problem ?
Hi there guys
im a kind of a noob
i think i have a problem with my transmission
2003 dodge grand caravan sport 3.3
it dosent happen all the time when pushing the gas pedal from a complete stop
starts ok but then when the rpm reach around 2 it kick like improper shifting sort of a kick, and in highway speed going ~120 kmh and when i leave the gas it kicks again and the rpm gets up to 3-3.5 like it engaged it in the wrong gear and drops
thanks !

Have you checked the fluid level? And did the check engine lamp come on? I would recommend to have the transmission check for any updates, CVI and a clutch test done.

fluids are all good will check the clutch though have another issue with .maybe it's connected had the getting Stalled and the Oil pressure light goes on after a few minutes will start with no problems but sometimes drives rough thanks again
Ever since I first had the transmission fluid changed at 143000 miles and the speed sensor changedI have been getting lousy milage. Shortly after that my transmission developed torque converter shudder resulting in having to have it rebuilt. Since thern my milage went from 19-23 miles per gal to 13 -18mpg. Could they have put in the wrong speed sensor? I was told tht a front wheel drive speed senso was put in insteaqd of an all wheel drive speed sensor? Is this true/possible
ON THe HIGHWAY BEFORE ANYTHING WAS DONE TO THE TRANSMISSION, MY SPEEDOMETER MATCHED MY Tom Tom gps perfectly. When one read 65 the other one did too. after the rebuild: When my speedometer read 65, my Tom Tom read 72-73. At 70 the tom tom reads 80.Also when I was doing 65 before the rebuild, my tach was at 1800rpms, at 70-75 about 2100 rpmsNow when I do 60 it is at 1800rpms but at 5 is 2100 rpms. Did they put the wrong sensor in?
