Default Stuck in PARK

My 2009 Grand Caravan won't start. Lights, Door locks etc. work OK. Nothing happens when I turn the FOB to START. The gear shift won't move from PARK. I want to have it repaired but I don't know how to tow it if I can't get it our of PARK.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do to fix it?

Joe

Try disconnect the Battery for 5 minute.

Also, to get it out of park, There is a small rectangular cover on the top left corner of the Shift stick. Pop it out with a small screw driver or knife, there is a button under the cover you can press with a pen or screw driver to get it out of park.

Could be the starter or the WIN module. Do the radio and instrument cluster come on when the fob is turned to ACC? Do the turn signals work when the fob is turned to ON? Did you try shifting it out of park with the fob turned to ON and the brake pedal depressed? If the answer to the first two is no and the answer to the third is yes, I would suspect the WIN module - this must be diagnosed/replaced at a dealership. Otherwise I would suspect the starter or battery. Do what Steak59 suggested to shift it out of park to get it towed.
