Code p0202 and p0205 dodge grand caravan?
Ok so I'm back again with yet another problem. A couple of weeks ago I had a problem with my fuel injectors, and latter found out that my harness was fried and the wires were melted all the way to the cooper. We fix the wires so we can get around while the new one gets delivered. Everything was ok for the must part, the idle was still rough but we were not getting any codes. So finally the new harness arrives and we installed it right away. We started the car and noticed right of that it started sputtering and the engine was hesitant. The check engine light came on and it reads, Codes p0202 and p0205. So we changed the injectors around to see if the codes change and to see if it was the actual injector messing up, but the codes did not change and the problem still persist. Please help! I am running out of options.Thank you.

Code p0202:
- Faulty fuel injector 2
- Fuel Injector 2 harness is open or shorted
- Fuel injector 2 circuit poor electrical connection

Code p0205
- Faulty fuel injector 5
- Fuel Injector 5 harness is open or shorted
- Fuel injector 5 circuit poor electrical connection

 

Sounds like you installed a bad harness. Check wire continuity using an ohmmeter from the #2 and #5 injector to the PCM. If that's good check for the injector pulse at the injector connectors using a noid light. If the light doesn't flash replace the PCM.

 

The old injection harness could have shorted the drivers in the pcm. But I would ohm test the circuit wires as cougar had said.
