Purchased a used 2011 Grand Caravan with 24,000 miles from a big car dealer locally and was told that I still have the 3 year - 36,000 warranty from dodge.

Does this warranty cover everything on the vehicle?

I have noticed that the engine seems to miss sometimes when sitting at long traffic lights. Sometimes I also notice a clunk when shifting from reverse to drive.

I guess I'll call the dealer and see what they say.

 

It will most likely cover the trans issue. If you like the van, look into an extended warranty before the 3/36 expires.

Your powertrain warranty is for 100,000 miles / 5 years. If you are going to keep the van for 5-7 years, get the extended warranty.
