Occasional rough idle
I have a 2005 Dodge Caravan 3.3L V6 145,000 miles that has had an occasional rough idle over the past year or so. When I say occasional, I mean 2 or 3 times over the whole year. Up until yesterday, it was just a rough idle and then was fine. Yesterday when sitting at a stop sign it did the same thing, but then died. Started back up just fine and nothing noticeable as of today.
On 03/27/2008 with 53,400 miles, I replaced EGR valve.
On 01/22/2011 with 103,667 miles, I changed plugs and plug wires.
On 11/20/2011 with 116,939 miles, I replaced downstream oxygen sensor.
I'm wondering if I should replace fuel filter ($24). I know I have to drop gas tank to replace it, but wanted to see if there are any other ideas of where to look.
I thought about checking throttle position sensor and cleaning throttle body.
Do any of those options sound like I'm on the right track or is there anywhere else I should be looking?

Was there a wet/damp weather condition on the day of the stall? (and if you can recall, on the rough idle days).
Which spark plugs did you install? Champion dbl plats are the plugs of choice. Other makes, particularly Bosch, have been reported to have problems.
You didn't say anything about a CEL/codes, but you could do the key dance just to check anyway. The coil is a frequent offender in our vans, but most folks report a misfire code when it turns out to be a bad coil.
You would want to do a fuel pressure test, to see if it's low, before doing the fuel filter job.
