Default 2012 Grand Caravan door issue

This afternoon the buttons on the b-pillar in my 2012 Grand Caravan stopped working. In addition the doors will not auto-open from the outside by pulling on the handle. The doors will open and close from the buttons on the console or from the remote. I have checked that the child locks have not gotten engaged. Anyone have any other ideas before I have to call the dealer? it is still under warranty but if I can avoid a trip to the dealer I would like it.

I guess I didn't look up at the console. Never noticed the master lock switch. We must have hit it accidently. Now it works.

Millerm507,

I'm happy to hear it was an easy resolution.

The second row sliding door switches and handled can be overridden by pressing the OFF side of the Master Lock Out Switch located in the front overhead console. When the power sliding door master lock switch is in the OFF position, the power sliding door may not be opened or closed by pressing the switch located on the b-pillar trim panel, just in front of the sliding door or activating the inside power sliding door handle. This information and more can be found on page 45 of the Owner's Manual.

Thanks for posting the correction in case anyone else has a similar situation.

You'll not the first and won't be the last. It happens everyday.
