Default Replacing valve cover gaskets on Caravan 2000?

Hi Gang!

So - I want to sell my Grand Caravan 2000 but it has a minor oil leak around the front (or rear) valve cover. The buyer wanted to pull down $1000 from the price stating that the repair would cost that much.
I read up a little bit and it looks like at least the front one is easy but the rear one would be a little tricky to get to. While I understand the buyer's concern, I feel like replacing those gaskets would be cheaper than that.
So much more that there's no drips on the floor of the garage where I have it parked.
What do you think a honest service would charge me for this?

thanks!
Gabster.

Pays 3.0 hrs to do the front and rear gaskets, I am assuming 3.3 / 3.8L. Labor rate in my neighborhood is $140 ish so $420 for labor plus parts witch is somewhere around $100 I'd guess.
