Hi everybody,

my new code reader give me the following ABS error code on my GrandCaravan 2007 :

28FE

But the definition is not available and I can't found on the web (after a couple of hour of search !!)

So does anyone can tell my what is the problem with this ABS code ??

Codes in the factory service information are listed by description and not numbers. Might need to find another scan tool.

 

I had similar issues with a reader I had bought to read my 06 srs codes, gave a number that doesn't go with anything

I just got Launch X431 Creader Viii Code Reader from amazon before christmas for less then 200$(they seem to have gone up in price) read my airbag codes perfectly, also reads my abs codes too, and gives lots of live data too

But I've just bought this reader for this specific ABS code... and it's seems strange that a reader supposed to read ABS code cannot tell me the good ABS code ?!?

Anyone have other idea ?

I got some code numbers that had nothing to do with my van,
they were
34
64
vs what I got from the launch read out as

first row dirver seat belt pretensioner open
and
squib configuration mismatch

 

take it to a auto store some offer to pull codes for free.

 

I thought auto part stores only pull basic Check engine light codes
not body, airbags, abs, transmission codes

 

Apologies to the OP because what I'm posting doesn't related to your question. The description of this unit mentions that it reads some transmission codes. Any chance this thing reads our TE41 tranny?

 

it reads my 06 no codes on mine, says it can check 33 data streams


only issue I have had is it gave an error when errasing my srs and abs codes
I bought mine from amazon, shipped by amazon so I could return it easily if needed

and it does read abs codes too here is my one of my not active code(like i said I get an error when trying to erase it but no light is on)


and the engine there is 100+ data streams
on my dads 2012 caravan it could not read his trans, but read every thing else

also friend of mine used it to check the trans temp on his 05 charger
