Hi! First post here! We have an '06 Grand Caravan SXT and also have an '06 Magnum SXT AWD. The Magnum is new to us and has a few bugs to work out, mainly with the ABS. I'd like to find a scanner or code reader that is compatible with both cars, and capable of SRS and ABS for both. I've found quite a few that can do ABS on one and SRS on the other, and vice versa, but haven't been able to find one that definitely works for ABS and SRS on both. I'd prefer live data as well. Looking to spend about $200, which I know is not much, but many in that range are capable of SRS and ABS with live data......just havent found one that does it all on both of these cars yet!

Any suggestions are appreciated!

it reads and pulls my 06 abs and srs codes used it to track down my airbag code
it has difficaulty errasing them, but I had first tried the
INNOVA 3160B ABS/SRS+ Professional CanOBDII Diagnostic Code Scanner with Enhanced Live Data
what a piece of crap, didn't pull anything, wouldn't connect to abs at all

the launch also has 100+ live data features, a buddy of my has it right now using it on his 05 magnum to check the trans temp so he can check the fluid level

After Trophyslayer sent the information on his Launch X431 Creader Viii, I did some research and found the earlier vii+ (seven +). Based on everything I could find, it appears the viii supports 9 more vehicles (which I don't need), and also can reset some status lights that the vii+ cannot. But otherwise they sound the same, and the vii+ appears to be able to read the TCM just like the viii does, which is the "extra" that I was looking for. So I have the vii+ on order, being shipped right now. If it turns out to be unable to read the TCM, then back it goes, and will be replaced by the viii. I chose the vii+ because it's around $50 less, and I'm basically a CASOB.
