Hey fellas. 2008 Grand Caravan sxt. Looking to buy the center console for this minivan. I'm unsure where it attaches to. The only thing that I see on my floor is that metal **** that you turn to drop the tire down from under the van. Does the console attach to that part? Or somewhere else?

 

They have a steel bracket that mounts to the floor.

Not sure, but I believe you need to cut the carpet in the appropriate area and bolt the mounting bracket to the floor, and there may be a nearby harness to run 12V power to the console. I bought the upgraded console for our van and never did fit a mounting bracket, just shoved the console between the front seats and called it a day. Good luck.

 

Kallsop, where did you get the console from? Did you upgrade from the basic to the premium or super?
