I have a 2013 Grand Caravan, about 2 weeks ago we developed an odd sound in the cab/dash. It sound almost like a marble is rolling or cable swinging back and forth inside the low part of the dash on the driver side. Most noticeable as you turn, stop & start of course, consistent with that rolling concept .

I've narrowed the sound to the lower right of the steering column and the radio area. I've tried to reach under/around the peddle are to find something, but no luck.

Anyone else had this issue or know what it might be? any easy fix other than bring it to the shop?

and NO, there was no marbles accidentally dropped/lost in the van.

 

Issue has been found. I ended up having to take to the shop anyway. The cause was what appeared to be a 'extra' bolt that appeared to have been dropped during manufacturing was found under the carpet area rolling on the frame
