Default dodge dealer saying void warranty

I had the rear brakes done. took it into the dealer cause of another issue and mentioned to them the parking brake calipers aint working. they asked if brakes where done and I said yes cause they seized causing the pads and calipers to be bad. he said he have to talk to his manager due to others doing work and they would not cover them cause warranty void. well I told them everyone does brakes how that void warranty. what could I do in this situation?

They can't deny warranty simply because another shop replaced pads. They have to show that the other shop did something wrong to affect the parking brake. If so, then you have recourse against the independent shop. If the problem is a faulty caliper and the independent shop isn't at fault, then the dealer should fix it as long as you're still under the bumper to bumper warranty period.

I see Tuesday morning what they state. probably blame on the brake replacement cause the issue with the parking brakes.

I would call 1-800-997-1997, I believe that is the customer service information. Or send Dodgecares a pm.

thanks master I have to take it back cause they forgot to replace one thing I took it in for the hoses dough tech replaced the seal on the drain pan thinking it was the leak but not the hose that went to the cooler. guess I got oil change for free . rear parking brakes they said they replaced the cables and peddle but they ended up replacing both calipers and not saying they did. they did not want to admit I told them the issue was.
