Default Extend range of Key Fob

Does anyone know where the factory keyless module is located in a 2012 GC SXT? I'd like to try and add an extension to the antenna and get a bit more range from my key fob. I've also taken apart the fob and I assume the antenna is integrated in the circuit board? Idk I just want to try it out and see what happens

The passive entry system has 5 low frequency antennas in the 3 doors and the quarter panels. I'm afraid your range is set.

If they all didn't have to be aligned to triangulate the location of the FOBIC , you could probably "trim" the antenna.

Believe it or not, if you stick the key fob under your chin when you press the button, your range could be extended, sometime up to 30%. A human head can be an antenna amplifier.

Give it a try. Sometimes when I use the Panic button to find cars in the parking lot, it works.

Great, so I have to make a decision here. Assume you're yankin my chain, or risk looking like an idiot out in the parking lot.

OK! I choose "B" (:
