[3rd Gen : 96-00]: Coolant leaking from behind dashboard on 1998 Dodge Caravan
Pretty much as the title says.
Once the vehicle comes to temp I hear a whistling sound like a tea pot coming to a boil and eventually coolant starts leaking from behind the dashboard.
I'm assuming this means something is wrong with either the heater core or the hoses used to feed it.
A few questions.
If anyone has gone through something like this any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

A few questions.
- Is this something someone with limited knowledge should even attempt?
- Any idea where I can obtain a well laid out schematic for the dashboard of 98 Dodge Caravan?
- Is the heater core on the 98 bolted directly to the firewall where the coolant passes through or is there tubing from the passenger side of the firewall to the heater core?
If anyone has gone through something like this any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
