I have a 2000 Dodge Caravan SE and the drivers power window works find going down but when I try to put it up it will move up an inch and I have to wait a few moments. I then hit the up button again and it will move up a little again. This process takes me 5 to 10 minutes to get the window up.

Anyone know what the problem with this window is?

Moving to the correct section.

 

Sounds like the thermistor circuit breaker (PTC) in the motor is opening due to overheating. It cools then closes again. Probably a bad window motor. You can replace the whole window regulator assembly, just the motor on the assembly or just clean or replace the brushes in the motor - the usual culprit for your symptom. Make sure the window side tracks are cleaned up.
