Default 2005 Grand Caravan Auto Climate Control Air Flow Changing Locations

I have a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan with 3 zone auto climate control that has intermittent issues with the air exiting from the vent ducts, then changes to the defrost and floor, and then back to the vent. All within approximately 10 sec. The vent indicator light stays lit and does not change from defroster to vent and etc. The rear air is unaffected. The engine rpm makes no difference when it is acting up and changing from vent to vent. Turning the HVAC power off for a little while a couple of times eventually fixes it. I tried removing the battery for a couple of hours and that had no effect. Any ideas?

Might try a calibration procedure. Other than that swap out the control panel. It has the processor.

Look at "Stickys" on opening page. Open "Tizzy1 and others...." Then look at post titled "ACTUATOR CALIBRATION/DIAGNOSTICS AND COOLDOWN TEST
GENERAL INFORMATION" If your A/C is dead don't perform this procedure.
