There's no re-wiring needed.
I removed the shield and it was a mission to remove the old bulbs because the holders are so tight.
To reinstall the new bulbs was also a mission, there's barely any room to maneuver your fingers to attach the bulbs to the holders, I used a flat screwdriver to pop in the one side of the bulb and then the other side. You'll need a lot of patients and you'll get it.

I bought the bulbs from a local store, they are the same as your dome lights bulbs.

question did you get the can bus one led or the 9 led? I have 2010 list as both and confused which one to order?

 

The map lights have 4 LED and the dome and rear hatch are 8 LED.
I got them from a local store in Toronto.
