Ok so first let me say anyhelp at all would be appreciated. I have a hose on the top of my engine that is leaking (patched it temporarily) coolant. I only mention it because i don't know if it has anything to do with it. OK on to the A/C. The drivers side blows hot air. This happened after the hose got a hole in it. Then I got online and tried adding coolant first. This worked for a little bit (2 days). Now when i first start the van the drivers side is cool and then it feels like someone turned on the heat, but only after the temperature of the van reaches right above the middle line. Normally I would not complaine but it was 110 yesterday . Thank you in advance any help that you can give.

do you get cold air out of any vents?

 

Does the compressor engage? If so, do you hear a hissing noise on the right side when it does?
