[2nd Gen : 91-95]: Need fast help with strut installation
Replacing strut assemblies (all in one) on my 95 Grand Caravan.
I purchased Moog Strut Assembly ST8505. The old struts had two big nuts and bolts and a figure 8 shaped metal plate on one side (the nut side) to attach the strut to the control arm (or whatever is at the bottom)
The new part does not include this figure 8 piece and one of the bolts has an oblong backing to it, while the second has a round backing.
Do I need to use the figure 8 from the old setup? Is there a particular reason why one bolt is oblong?
I have it mostly reassembled already and want to make sure I didn't screw anything up before putting the tire back on (and refilling my transmission fluid... surprise to me!)

Well, after furthur inspection, the oblong bolt is called a cam bolt and goes on the bottom. I swapped the two around, and did put the washer plate on. *fingers crossed* Oh, and refilled my transmission fluid...
After I do the other side I have to get an alignment for sure.
