Default 2010 grand caravan noise

when you turning left or right does not make the noise. When you turn the steering left or right but backing up the car expecially tight spot there is a moan or high noise like sound. thinking possible 2 things? power steering pump? could it be the shock?

Is more like a high pitch whine?

more of a moan then a whine I know the whine noise when you over doo the steering to much and force it against the stop. that produces the pump to whine louder. this is little different. more of a moan. I thinking possible a ball joint? tie rod or could it be the top of the spring assembly bearing?

DodgeCaravan2010SXT,

I'm sorry to learn of your recent steering noise concern.

A moan sound heard when turning can be caused by low power steering fluid levels or in some cases, air bubbles found in the fluid. Have you had an opportunity to investigate or notify your dealer?

the wife drives the vehicle so I got it a few hours the weekend after I removed some fluid. looks like the dealer filled way over limit on high. tested seemed to not do it. I am going to take it in. also getting a hesitation on idle but I do have about 600-700 rpms. steering wheel vibrates up and down like engine rpms not right.
