[4th Gen : 01-07]: interchangeable trannys?

interchangeable trannys?
I have a 2007 GC 3.3l, got a tranny from scrap yard and found after
pulling origional one that they are different.
The origional (07) tranny has separate connectors for range and
park/neutral sensors while the used tranny ( from an 02) only
has 1 connector.
is there a way to use this tranny or do i have to go pull another one?
Thanks in advance..

It is more blessed to give than to receive. Your expectations may be a bit high for a non-contributor.
have you considered the remote possibility that no readers know the answer?? This would be my assumption. I doubt if many folks swapped a 41TE transmission with different connector count.
You may be able to determine compatibility by reviewing Chrysler reman transmission sites. Do your old sensors bolt to the new transmission? I would remove the sensors from each transmission and compare them.
The solenoid packs are the same from 2001 to present.

Electronic controls vary by vintage. The 41TE has been in production for a long time. Retrofit tricks between years would only be known by a Chrysler transmission expert. Salvage yards know what crosses between years. Guessing could be risky because servo/valve body mechanicals may differ between the two. Finding somebody who swapped an identical one is hard enough.
