Click coming from front end/steering
Hello,
First of all, thanks to any and all replies! Our 2014 Caravan seems to have a "click" coming from the steering/front end. It usually happens first thing in the morning on a cold start, you turn the wheel a bit and it clicks.
After that it usually happens in a parking lot, or somewhere where there is a tight turn and you have to turn the steering wheel all the way to the left or right. Van has about 13k on it.
We did take it to the dealership, who told us the spare tire winch was lose? They said they tightened the winch and the click is "gone"....
however I can still hear it on occasion, it's just not as loud at all (very faint now) so I'm wondering if it's something more serious and they just greased the front end or something.
It seems kind of strange to me that the tire winch would be causing a click, especially when the click happens most often from turning the steering wheel to either side.
