I have just purchased a 2013 Caravan SXT and discovered that it does not have Daytime Running Lights (DRL). I was told that the DRL function could be activated just by changing a code in one of the car's computer. Is this true? What is the code, and how can it be done? Thanks

 

I not sure if you have the module. but this has to be programmed by dealer if you do have that option. this is Canadian rule. some usa I believe have it as well. you need to check with the dealer.

 

Thanks for your reply. Where would I look for the DRL module? I don't want to ask the dealer if I don't have it.

The dealer has access to the ECM software to enable DRL's. Unless you have a StarScan, you can't do it. It takes less than 10 minutes to do so just find a compliant dealer or someone that works at a dealership.
