I have a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT with only one fob (plus 2 metal keys) - I'd like to get a second one (from Amazon) and program it myself if possible. Can I do this? How?

 

The owners manual should outline how to do it. I'm not sure if the 2 Fob rule applies to a 2013 though. I don't read the owners manual either..

 

YOU will require the 2 fob keys that have the chip built into it. IF the metal ones can start the vehicle then they chipped. but if not dealer you go.


its as simple as put the key in and turn but don't start. red light security on then turn off and quickly put the second key in to the light on. then remove and insert the third one and this one you turn and startup the vehicle. the doors all have to be closed when doing this.
