Bad O2 sensor. If start by replacing that.

Backman5656,

Sorry to hear about your experience. As jkeaton said, p0430 means that there is an issue with your O2 sensor. Given the circumstances, I recommend scheduling an appointment at your local dealership. If you choose to do so and would like assistance in scheduling an appointment, please let me know. Either way, if you do want to take it to your dealer, please let me know so I can follow-up on your case and see if there is anything I can do to assist.

There's this: http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/...htsa/16496795/

Then there's this:

Report Receipt Date: JUN 26, 2014
NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V373000
Component(s): AIR BAGS , ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
All Products Associated with this Recall expand
Details close
8 Associated Documents expand
Manufacturer: Chrysler Group LLC
SUMMARY:
This defect can affect the safe operation of the airbag system. Until this recall is performed, customers should remove all items from their key rings, leaving only the ignition key. The key fob (if applicable), should also be removed from the key ring. Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2009-2010 Dodge Journey vehicles manufactured June 29, 2007, to June 17, 2010, and 2008-2010 Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town and Country vehicles manufactured January 26, 2007, to June 17, 2010. Road conditions or some other jarring event may cause the ignition switch to move out of the run position, turning off the engine.
CONSEQUENCE:
If the ignition key inadvertently moves into the OFF or ACCESSORY position, the engine will turn off, which will then depower various key safety systems including but not limited to air bags, power steering, and power braking. Loss of functionality of these systems may increase the risk of crash and/or increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
REMEDY:
Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the ignition switch, free of charge. Chrysler sent out an interim notification to owners on September 11, 2014. A second notice is expected to be mailed in April 2015. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is L25. Note: This is an expansion of recall 11V-139.
NOTES:
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

I have a 2009 GC SXT which does the same thing. In fact, it happened two days ago. I was driving in deep snow in Northern MN. I pushed the gas down and noticed nothing was happening. I look down and saw the RPMs at zero and the ESP light was on. I was going about 25-30MPH. I put it in neutral and started it up. My wife won't drive it any more.
