Hello all my fiance is working on a 1996 Dodge caravan and he has changed the computer and the harness to a 99 but we can't seem to find a wiring diagram he also needs the coil wiring diagram.

Just sent total of 6 engine control diagrams. 3 for each model year. First set for 96. Second for 99.

I have the Haynes and Chilton diagrams. They basically give you diagrams for whatever configuration they had for their manual, so you have like 1/6 of the possible diagrams and every one has different colors for wiring at the very least..

I actually tried finding expensive diagrams once, and they were all basically the same deal..

 

yeah well my fiance got that done and then replaced something else and he is still runinng into a problem even with out the key in the windshield wipers are running and so he is Stuck

 

What exactly is the problem?

 

Well it is for a friend some one ran the harness over then exhaust and so it melted then she had some one else took it out and messed everything up so we redid all of the engine harness and he went to start it and nothing but the windshield wipers turned on and then wouldn't turn off. So after replacing the gem module that stopped but now the horn is on non stop lol

 

Tough deal with a '96 because they were a year all by themselves. Everything changed again in '97 and again midyear '98. So a lot of things are different so when you change over one thing you almost have to change everything.
