Hello,

I have a 1999 Caravan with the 3.0 Mitsu engine. The crankshaft position sensor needs to be replaced, I have the part, but I cannot find where it is on the bellhousing. Can you tell me exactly where i can find this sensor? Is it found from the top (under the hood) or from underneath?

on the bell housing, on the rear side where the differential is. I get it from the top

I have sideways engine and it was on front of engine at very bottom hard to spot but it's there h hope this helps
