Good afternoon there folks. Prior to my requirement of a kid hauler, I had a 2006 Ford Fusion and a 2001 Ford Ranger. I was on forums for both and over the years was very involved in the mods to them. There isn't anything that I don't know about those vehicles.

Now with my 2014 DGC, I'm a total rookie. I have been reading through many threads to find out any mods that can can be done to these. The gen's span several model years and I do know that there has been minor changes to the DGC's from one Gen to the next. Dodge loves cosmetic changes.

I would like to know if there is another Dodge vehicle (or similar) that I can swap out the rear dome light (situated between the second and third row). It's a simple oval light with black trim that seems to simply attach with no screws. I had it apart and it looks very cheap.

I want to find a dome light with map lights (for my passengers), currently they have no lighting back (without having to turn all the interior lighting on).

For a reference, my 01 Ranger came factory with an ugly square dome light with chrome trim. I was able to simply swap it out and replace it with a mustang dome light that had the center lamp as well as two map lights. Process in swapping them was simply plug and play. Same wire harnesses, and same attachment points.

Has this been done and are there members on here that have done mods to the DGC's?
