I have a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan with fog lights, and I would like to add automatic headlights so that the headlights and taillights come on automatically when the sun goes down.

I've read on some other forums that this can be accomplished by replacing the headlight switch with one that has the "Auto" marking on it. But I can't find the part number for the switch, and I'm having trouble ordering one as a result.

Can someone point me in the right direction for this please?

 

You will need the switch, the ambient light detector and then you will have to have the dealer flash the computer to enable the lights to work. There is a lot more too it than just replacing the switch.

 

Actually the dealer's told me that this isn't possible at all. But for the cost of a switch, I'm willing to try it out.
