Hey guys, I have a 05 Caravan and one of the two small power steering hoses blew. I replaced it with ease and unfortunately it blew again. I ordered another and this one is darn near impossible to get over the fittings. Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to do it? I have worked on it so much, but it is damn near impossible to get on properly.

Throw it in very hot water for a few minutes, then lube it with ATF+4. That ought to do it.

 

Thanks, I will try this. I tried for a couple hours and made little leeway and just hurt my shoulder in the process. And no, I am not weak

 

I warm it with a heat gun
