[4th Gen : 01-07]: 02 Grand Caravan Sport - starts, revs, but dies at idle
I have recently replaced the fuel injector wire harness (melted), and fuel filter, plugs, wires, and coil. I still have a P0108 and P0204 (I had this before I replaced the wire harness). Now the van will start, rev, but will die when just idling. When trying to troubleshoot, I unplugged the connector to the Throttle Positioning Sensor to see if that would change anything. What happened next really threw me..."after" unplugging the TPS the van would idle fine! If I plugged the TPS back in, it would start, rev, but die when idling. I got a new TPS from O'reilly's but it has the same behavior as the old one. I'm somewhat handy but by no means a mechanic (as you can probably tell). I appreciate any help you might have. Thanks.
P.S. I have read soooo many cases where Caravans have melted fuel injector wire harnesses like mine. Shouldn't Dodge do something about this!? Sorry, just whinin' out loud!
