I just purchased a 1993 dodge caravan and it won't go into third gear I replaced the solenoid pack with a brand new Borg Werner unit still having problems checking all wires from pack right now any suggestions would be helpful

 

If 1st and 2nd gear shifts and quits in 3rd. Then you may have a broken hard part in the transmission.

 

Remove an input or output sensor and check for debris on the end of the sensor.
