Default Changed CPS, will not start up.

This is my first time replacing a Crank Position Sensor in my life, I got the old one off and installed the new one, no documentation and no manual, It will not start up, I noticed it had elongated bolt hole, how would I adjust it to get it to start up?

Sorry CKP, not CPS

Remove the air resonator (for easier access), on top of the tranny you'll see a wire connector, follow it (going in the firewall direction) to find the Crank Sensor. 1 bolt holding it in place

EDIT: Wait, are you looking for the Crank Sensor or the Cam sensor?

Aftermarket cam and crank sensors are garbage. I've been burned so many times, I don't even bother with them anymore.

I got a 1999 dodge ram 1500 5.9L with 230k mikes and it’s 100 percent stock (yes same tranny no rebuilds, redid the dash it looked like a bag of chips). My grandpa has the same truck with 300k miles with same motor. Rebuilt tranny. And new steering assembly.
