Default 2005 caravan

My 2005 caravn had a dead battery the other morning after I jump started it I lost headlights,radio,heater,and windows. drove it to town and bought new battery and did the 3 click thing with the key to reest it but still have same problem please help can I swap a bcm out of a 2005 that does not have all the things I have in mine.

unhooked batt. last night and left off getting ready to go out and rehook it up and see what I have

Also I have a 2005 caravan available for parts (friends was hit from rear says I may have any parts i need) but it is a basic model no power doors and such can I swap fuse box and bcm out of it to mine or will I need one with all the bells and whistle stuff in it

Don't know why you would want to hang on parts when you don't know what the problem is. If all of the fuses and relays are ok as you wrote, it's likely there's a short somewhere (but not necessarily in the IPM/BCM)(. Do a parasitic draw test with a multi-meter in order to determine which circuit might be having a problem and then drill down from there.

These vans are known for electrical issues. For example; the melting harness connector going to the injector rail/map/ect. I've heard of the ground connection underneath the battery tray corroding or coming loose. Check your main pos and neg battery cables for continuity. I found the entire schematics and service manuals online (which wasn't difficult via Google). Find that and trace the wiring to the source for the devices that are cutting out.
