I have a 96 caravan that was in storage for about a year. I put a fresh battery in it and it started right up. =) When I put it in reverse, it didn't want to move for a bit, but finally moved. I noticed there was a lot of transmission fluid on the cardboard I had put under the van before I parked it in the storage building.

It has never had a problem with the trans before. What would cause it to leak so much trans fluid just sitting there for a year?
