Default Air only on passenger side

So I've done my research on this forum and others, I've come to the conclusion that this is a very common problem, I have contacted my dealer and was advise that our warrenty was expired by 3000 km which was a **** off, and that our VIN number is not included in the recall of the bad actuator/ software fix.

So my question to everybody is, is there anyone in the Hamilton Ont, area that can scan my van and recalibrate the actuator. in hopes that this may fix it, from my understanding because it is a 2014 model year Van the manual method will not work.

Also is there anyone that can truly give me and answer as to what the real problem is, instead of just replace the part and hope for the best. Is it a programming problem that it sometimes doesn't see the actuator and messes up the calibration and fails in the hot position, is it a real mechanical problem with the actuator, or is it a signal problem with the control ****, and if it is can it be tested by a multi-meter. in the time being this weekend I will attempt to remove the actuator and try to function check it.

Thanks for all your input.

First I would get the codes out of the hvac module and post the code. There also maybe a software update for the a/c module too.

Yep, it's kind of both. Crappy software and possibly a bad actuator as well.
